Does not do anything for your iMac, but a Windows PC could run this version of Leopard 10.5.5. Check Hackintosh forum for more info

thanx james, i didn't apply the nforce patch, but its still boot well in my nVidia MCP67 chipset. I have succesfully install the iDeneb inside my AMD machine, the problem is I can't get my networking works. I have choose RTL8201CL as my network driver, it install well, but i still can't connect to the internet (i'm using ethernet from my wireless D-link router). I also don't get my sound works (AC97).

I have wasted 4 DVDs on this.... burned in Roxio, Alcohol, and in OSx. on 2 different machines at very slow speed.
Every one boots ok and start install, then fails with 5% left saying "install media damaged, get replacement disk"

I patched this shit and it still says waiting for root device. verified md5 cheksums this version is bullshit. at least the kexts are. I have yet to find a version of leopard that will work with amd and nvidia chipsets and not display still waiting for root device.
Thank you! Using this on my intel DP35DP mobo. After trying to upgrade Leo4All destroyed my OSX86 install, I gave this a try. Works flawlessly for my hardware.

@kaise123: just why wouldn't a 4.7 GB image fit to a 4.7 GB disc? anyway, it might be possible to make a bootable flash stick from this image, but i don't know any tools for it.

i got thru the installation , when i boot after the installation it gets me to the darwin menu tries to boot from the drive that ideneb is installed on , and reboots the computer , i looked for forums but didnt find a thing , if anyone has a solution id be verry happy , thanks

Hmm, can't get passed loading screen. Kaly 1.5.2 works fine, but the same settings on iDeneb can't take me to the setup screen.
The one time I DID get it to setup, it would go so far and then the setup process would restart (think I was using speedstep kernel). For some reason I entered setup in safe mode, so after four or five times of me going through the setup and having it go back to step one I got annoyed and rebooted without the safe mode but then it told me to restart and hasn't worked since (no matter how many installs I try).
I'll post here when it (finally) works. I knew I should have bought an Intel system D:

I have a hp pavilion dv6000 series laptop with 2 gb of ram, and an amd turion64 x2 processor. I am currently running on Vista Ultimate, but I was hoping to have a dual boot, both Vista and Mac. I already created the partition and set it to primary and active. I loaded the Mac OS X DVD and changed the partition to MAC extended journaled format using Disk Utilities. I installed Mac OS X on the partition, but when i tried loading it, I get the error with something like com.apple.BOOT.plist. When I insert the DVD, it just keep restarting. When I press F8 and put -v, -x, -s, or Y, it doesn't do anything. It will just go back to the prompt. Is there a particular way of installing this one? I looked at the search engines already, but still no luck with solving my problem. Any help please?

What i did was i repeatedly tapped enter(or any key) as the comp was booting. Try hitting any key instantaneously just as screen after the initial boot screen appears... The error does not appear anymore.. I tried it many times it works.

i install the os just fine using everything i *think* i need in the custom install... after installation, my computer restarts and i get the error logo posted on top of the apple logo.
ive done this about 4 times with different kernals and different BIOS options...

ok usb port fixed just had to run the OSx86 app in the applications folder and things started to work for me bt still no wifi any help??

So it installs completly, erases my MBR and looks like it iwll boot. It goes into the apple boot screen then a blue screen appears where it stay frozen. That's it a lighter shade of blue screen that does nothing, no desktop nothing but a blue screen!!!!!!

when i tried to install it and hit enter, the apple logo appears then suddenly freezes and my pc would restart. when i tried hitting -v it says media failed to read or write and then my pc would restart again and again... what's wrong? i think there's something wrong the way it was burned. i hate it 'cause i deleted the original copy already and it took me years to download it. hi ! I downlaoded n installed (speed 2mbps ! nice speed) but after bootup its asking language to select after selecting country n language its asking to transfer files from mac to mac , tranfer from backup, tranfer from time machine, do not transfer! any option i select it doesnt go to next step...just stuck at dat point.

Restart PC and bbot from the DVD. After countdown type "-v" and press Enter.
If the problem stilll continues restrat pc again boot from DVD. After countdown type "-x" and press enter.
And you have to wait for atleast 10 minutes.
I found it after 50 restarts. The second method worked for me.

OKay I downloaded the Ideneb 10.5.5 and I was abble to install and it said successful but I restart and I also have windows vista as well but when The IDENEB installs and restarts it automatically goes back to Windows VISTA someone please help!

For those who have the burning problem and receive "power calibration area" error:
I've got the same problem, it's physical and has nothing to do with the image file
Try a better Standard DVD (No need for double layer DVD)
Set the writing speed to minimum speed
OR(if still with no success) for the last option, look for optical issues - or even change -in the DVD Burner Drive

I love when people 'sufi249' in particular can't do something and blame it on the tools as opposed to their own inability to do something as simple as reading and learning. this is not for the faint of heart and will not work in all machines. It has no guarantees and requires advanced skills in reading and following instructions, More so it requires patience and when yo finally figure out what mix works for you this is great. thanks to the uploader PuXa and all that seeded. works great and may require tweaking but worth it when installed. Oh and sufi249, go back to best buy
I have a dell pc without a keyboard port on the motherboard so i need to use USB. Further in to the proces ask the installation witch keyboard i have. but it aint work. Do you now how to solve this? sorry for bad english

While this may install on a second drive, one thing it doesn't do, at least for me, is boot-from-DVD on a Mac -- which is disappointing as I'm looking for a DVD5 version of this operating system.
